What is the prize?

Can the winner take something else instead of the cash?
No. The official terms say the prize is £20,000 and no other alternative will be offered. You may see older pages that mention mortgage payments. That option is not part of this prize draw.
Entering
Do I have to buy anything to enter?
No. No purchase is necessary. You do not have to buy or switch any service, and you do not have to become a UW customer.
How do I enter?
The official rules say you speak to a UW Partner and complete the official UW online application form. You can start by filling in the free entry form on our homepage.
How many times can I enter?
Once. There is a limit of 1 entry to the prize draw per person. The limit is per person, not per household.
Can I enter by post?
The official terms do not include a postal entry route. Entries must be submitted through the official UW online application form.
What if a UW Partner takes my details on paper?
Where there is no mobile signal or internet, a UW Partner may record your details on a paper form. Your entry is only created when the Partner submits those details through the official UW online application form.
Who can enter
Who can enter?
UK residents aged 18 or over, except existing UW customers, employees of UW, their families, agents and anyone associated with the promotion.
Can existing Utility Warehouse customers enter?
No. Existing UW customers are excluded from the £20K Giveaway.
Dates and the draw
When do entries close?
Entries must be submitted through the official UW online application form by 31 August 2027. Entries after that date are not valid.
When is the prize draw?
The draw will be held at Amplify 2027, which takes place by 31 October 2027.
How is the winner chosen?
One winner is chosen at random. The draw is supervised by an independent person.
If you win
How will the winner be contacted?
UW will contact the winner within 30 days of the draw, using the phone number or email address given with the entry.
How long does the winner have to claim?
The winner has 14 days from being contacted to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed in that time, the claim becomes invalid and UW can offer the prize to the next eligible entrant.
Will the winner's name be published?
UW will publish the winner's surname and county on uw.co.uk. If the winner objects, they can tell UW when UW contacts them about the prize.
Will the winner be filmed or photographed?
The official terms say the winner consents to being filmed and/or photographed for promotional purposes.
